Your Recycling Tote
Your blue tote or the one marked with "Recycling" on it, is the tote in which you will put all of your recyclable items into. All items that go into this tote will not be placed in bags, and will just be put directly into the tote.
What Items Go In:
All of the items as followed should be placed in the recycling tote and not put in a bag and then in the recycling tote:

Aluminum (empty and rinse)
Plastics bottles, cans, jars and tubs (empty and replace the cap)
Glass bottles and jars (empty and rinse)
Cardboard and paper (empty and flatten)

Prohibited Items:
It is strictly prohibited to place any hazardous, toxic, radioactive, volatile, corrosive, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, or infectious waste into a 96-gallon recycling container. Some examples of such waste are as follows:

Tires
Hazardous chemicals
Pressurized containers
Fluorescent bulbs
Asbestos
Linens
Biomedical waste
Liquids
Building waste
Electronic devices
Propane tanks
Batteries
Appliances
